Emblem Ribbon Cutting
Our team celebrated the ribbon-cutting of Emblem, which has added 115 units of affordable housing to NoMa. Supported by $3 million in financing from DC Green Bank, this development includes more than 50 two- or three-bedroom apartments, adding needed affordable homes for families. Emblem’s resilient design and highly efficient heating and cooling system will help keep these homes affordable and comfortable for residents.

Discussing the Future of Solar in DC
Earlier this month, we brought together a group of solar developers to talk about the business and policy challenges that they face. DC Green Bank is committed to financing businesses that continue to deliver savings for residents and grow the solar market in DC, creating more jobs and building our economy.
S St Village
A $1.165 million DC Green Bank loan is helping Manna Inc deliver energy-efficient homes, renovate a historic church, and build a new headquarters in Ward 2. The new development, S St. Village, will create 90 affordable homes just blocks from the Shaw-Howard Metro station.

3333 K St NW
A new $20.6 million PACE loan, in partnership with PACE Equity Finance, to ONE Street Commercial Properties will transform an office building on the Georgetown waterfront into energy-efficient new condominiums and retail space. The PACE financing will deliver 22 new homes, $160,000 in annual operational savings, and ground-floor retail and restaurant space.

New Team Members
We added two new members to the DC Green Bank team. Join us in welcoming them! Montell and Hailee will help us continue to grow our impact across the District.
